About Extra Space Storage
Extra Space Storage sits on NW 19th St in Fort Lauderdale, and RV owners are pointed to the outdoor spots and parking spaces rather than a unit. The lot is gated with electronic key code entry, and there's a wide drive aisle so you're not threading a rig through a tight squeeze. Reviews land at 4.7 stars across 855 of them, and a lot of the talk is about the people. Renters name specific staff members and describe being walked through the paperwork step by step. A few mention scheduling changes handled without drama, including one traveler who got a call back after a long drive in bad weather. Others single out clean units and grounds. Not every review is glowing. A handful describe break-ins, rodent mess, and people staying in units, so read through them yourself before you commit. Climate controlled units are also on site, which matters less for a rig than for whatever you're pulling behind it. The office keeps set hours rather than staying open around the clock. Call ahead once to confirm an outdoor space is free before you haul the coach over.
