About Extra Space Storage
Extra Space Storage on Express Dr S in Islandia handles more than just household goods. The facility rents covered and outdoor spaces for RVs and boats, and the grounds are gated with cameras. Staff are the standout in reviews, with 26 mentions of kind and helpful employees. One reviewer said Lance went above and beyond to find the right unit. Climate-controlled units are available if you need them for other gear, and there's a heated loading bay plus elevator access. The property is described as clean and well maintained in several reviews. Reviewers also mention a smooth rental process and clear communication from the team. Not every review is positive. One customer reported mold on stored belongings, and another noted break-ins and flimsy locks. It's worth reading through the reviews yourself and checking the specific space before you commit. The facility isn't open 24/7, so plan your visit around staffed hours.
