About A.R.U. Marina & Campgrounds
A.R.U. Marina & Campgrounds sits on the banks of the Ashtabula River, about a 20-minute boat ride from Lake Erie. It's a campground and marina with outdoor RV campsites, boat docks, and seasonal dry boat storage. The season runs May 1 to Oct 10. Rates are available daily, weekly, monthly, and seasonal, so you can stay for a night or settle in. Reviews are mixed. Several people praise the owners as friendly and helpful, and one calls the facilities immaculate. Others mention no full hookups and say outsiders aren't really welcome. One reviewer had a fishing trip cut short by private property rules. Another thought the rent was overpriced. If you're passing through, it works. For a longer stay, read the reviews and decide for yourself.
