About Affordable Self Storage
This is a South Central Omaha storage spot near I-80 that has been renting units and outside parking since the early 1990s. The place runs on electronic keypads and gates, with 24 hour video surveillance and free security locks. Units are kept clean and well lit, and there are newer climate controlled units along with outside storage stalls and office warehouses. Reviewers tend to bring up the staff. One person said a worker had them set up with a unit in about 10 minutes when another facility fell through. Another long-time renter mentioned Maria staying late on a Saturday to help before a move. Others point to cleaning and the office crew as the bright spots. Not every review is kind. Some renters complain about rent going up, and one mentions paying six months in advance without getting a bill until a late notice showed up. It is worth asking how billing works before you sign. The facility scores 4.0 across 72 Google reviews, so read a few yourself.

What renters mention
“I have been with this storage unit for over a decade and then some. They have always been super helpful and even helped me get a new key to my unit when mine was stolen from my car.” – Bianca R., a year ago, on Google
“Everyone was amazing! We had rented another storage unit and we’re not able to access that on the morning that we needed to move my dad and we’re not able to get into that unit or get a hold of anyone who could help us.” – Gatherer O., 3 years ago, on Google
“Maria was very informative and sweet. I've had other units in the past and the title speaks the truth. This is literally the most affordable place in town. They haven't changed rates since last year and don't plan on changing it this year!” – Tatum L., a year ago, on Google
