About Amberstone Storage
Amberstone Storage sits in Manteno and runs as a self-storage facility that also takes boats and RVs. Reviewers keep coming back to the same points: the place is clean, the pricing is fair for the area, and the lot has enough room that getting a big rig in and out is not the ordeal it was at their last spot. Gated entry, cameras, well-lit grounds and 24-hour access are part of the setup. A manager named Chuck shows up often in reviews, described as helpful and quick to answer calls. One renter mentioned units were available on short notice when a house closing slipped. Not every review is glowing. One person described the site as dirty and dusty with a sewage smell, and said insurance gets added on if you do not carry your own. Worth knowing before you sign. The call center takes questions during weekday and weekend hours.
