American Self Storage #17

About American Self Storage #17

American Self Storage #17 sits in Tecumseh, part of an Oklahoma-owned chain with 23 facilities and more than 30 years behind it. The company advertises boat and RV storage along with personal and business units, plus packing supplies and U-Haul rentals on site. Reviewers keep bringing up Sheila, the manager. People describe her as friendly, knowledgeable, and always willing to listen when there's a problem. One customer said the experience wouldn't be the same without her. The other theme is the lot itself: torn-up cement between units, a large hole on the east side, and potholes on the south side bad enough that one reviewer replaced a tire. Another said you have to hug the building to avoid bottoming out, which is hard with a big rig. The facility holds a 4.1 rating from 15 Google reviews. Online payments are available if you want to skip the office trip. If you're parking something heavy, drive the lot before you commit. Roads and pavement are the complaint, not the staff.
