About American Self Storage #6
American Self Storage #6 is part of an Oklahoma-owned chain with 23 facilities and more than 30 years in the business. Along with regular self storage, they take boats and RVs. Cameras are on site, and the office sells packing supplies and rents U-Haul trucks. Online payments and move-in trucks are available too. Reviews split. Several people praise the manager as friendly, helpful and informative, and call the monthly cost affordable. Others describe gates locked past posted hours and a manager they found rude. One reviewer said a unit was broken into in a blind spot. Another said the property is older but the unit itself was clean. A long-term customer said a forced unit move went smoothly thanks to the manager. Hours are posted but not 24/7, so check before you haul a rig over. The company says it is upgrading the property, with some older units coming down for larger ones.

“I have had a unit at this location for years and they are starting to upgrade the property. I was advised my unit is being torn down (to build larger units). They gave me plenty of notice that I would have to move to another unit.” – Rick F., a year ago, on Google
