About Bay Area Storage
Bay Area Storage is an outdoor storage facility in Bay City, Michigan, that also handles RVs and boats. The lot is open 24/7, and a security gate gives tenants card access at any hour. Reviewers mention the gate as a plus, and one long-term tenant said the new owners got it fixed. Reviews are mixed. Some renters have been there for years and call the units well taken care of, with staff quick to respond when something comes up. Others point to maintenance gaps, like a gap under a unit door, and a deposit dispute over an oil spot. A few mention the place is clean and the price is hard to beat. Units tend to fill fast, so it pays to call ahead if you see one open. If you are parking a rig, ask about the specific unit before you sign, and take photos when you move in.
