About Burnet Road Self Storage
Burnet Road Self Storage sits on a piece of old Austin: the Burnet Road Drive-In Theater opened here in 1952. The business leans into that history and describes itself as old school hospitality with a quirky atmosphere. Reviewers split on the place. Several praise the friendly, helpful staff and the easy drive-up access, and a few call the units good for the price with a genuine local feel. Others report problems. One reviewer found their boat trailer hit and the wiring damaged by a mowing crew. Another says their card kept getting charged after they canceled in person. Cameras and boat storage are mentioned, and the office keeps hours rather than staying open around the clock. The units are described as large and basic, with walls that stop short of the ceiling. Worth reading the reviews yourself before you commit.
