About Butte Valley RV Park
Butte Valley RV Park sits on the edge of Dorris, an easy walk into town. It's a practical stop for RVers heading to Crater Lake, Lava Beds, or Mount Shasta. The park has 30 full hookup sites with daily, weekly, and monthly rates. Recent guests mention new owners who have cleaned up the place and a manager named Brett who was polite and helpful, leading them to level, shaded sites. Others note friendly staff and a quiet atmosphere with mountain views. Reviews are mixed on some points. Some guests appreciated the safety and convenience, like being steps from the Lion's Club for a local bike ride. A few mentioned trains and a manager who was seen as overly watchful, with one reviewer citing a dispute over a dog leash. Another wished for a picnic table and trash can. If you're looking for a simple, well-located base for exploring the area, it's worth a look.
