About Carefree Self Storage
Carefree Self Storage sits in Winston-Salem, NC, with units in all sizes described as clean, dry, and safe. Contracts run short term and month to month, and you bring your own lock. The property is gated, and the office also handles U-Haul rentals if you're moving. Reviews are mixed. One reviewer calls it a great storage place and another says the containers are clean with friendly staff. A longer review tells a different story: a broken electronic gate, a temporary bike lock in its place, and a break-in with a lawnmower stolen. The same person notes no one staffs the office and contact happens by out-of-town phone. It rates 4.2 from six Google reviews, so there isn't much to go on either way. Worth a drive past to see the gate and unit condition for yourself before you sign.
