Cedar Ridge Campground & Storage Units

About Cedar Ridge Campground & Storage Units

Cedar Ridge sits outside Platte, South Dakota, a short drive from the Missouri River. It is a newly developed campground that also offers storage units, with Platte Creek Recreation Area, Snake Creek Recreation Area and Gray State Public Shooting Area all nearby. Reviewers keep coming back to the quiet. One guest called it peaceful and spacious, and a travel nurse staying the summer liked having a calm place to rest after a long shift. Others mention the chill vibe and say it lacks the craziness of busier campgrounds. A host named Randy gets credit for being friendly and accommodating, and one reviewer praised the owner for caring about campers' happiness. The setting is open and rural, with GFP ground to the east and fields where dogs get their morning walks. Guests have noticed more spots going in on the south side, so the place is still growing.
