About Cheat Lake Storage
Cheat Lake Storage sits in Morgantown and does a lot more than self-storage. It's a large facility with room for boats and RVs, plus a U-Haul dealership and moving supplies under the same roof. They also winterize and service boats, so your rig can sit out the season and get prepped while it's there. Reviewers keep coming back to the people. Katie and Diana get named for being friendly and willing to pitch in during a move-out. Another customer mentioned staff going past what was expected at the unit and on a U-Haul rental. Rent and clean units come up often too, and the boats stored there get good words. Not every review is warm. One person had trouble with a website that wouldn't complete a transaction, and another said a security deposit didn't come back as promised on a U-Haul rental. The overall rating still lands at 4.6 from 35 reviews, which is solid for a place this size. Hours are posted, so check them before you haul over. Call ahead if you need details on sizes or rates.
