About Compass Self Storage
Compass Self Storage sits on the Torrington side of things, near Burr Pond State Park and the Warner Theatre, so it draws plenty of locals hauling boats and campers up Route 8. The place handles outdoor units with drive-up access along with climate-controlled indoor space, and it rents spots for cars, boats, and RVs. Staff get named a lot in the reviews. Joe and Gus and Scott come up again and again for walking people through units, answering questions, and smoothing over rough reservations. Reviewers also mention reasonable rates and a clean property. A few complain about phone tag and one overlocked unit, so the front desk isn't perfect. Google scores it 4.7 across 262 reviews. If you're parking a rig here, ask about the outdoor access and confirm what your unit actually includes before you sign.
