About Cuba Road Storage
Cuba Road Storage is a fenced, gated self-storage lot on S South St, a couple minutes from downtown Wilmington. Units run from 5x10 up to 10x30, and there is outdoor parking for boats and RVs alongside the indoor units. Gate access is coded, cameras are on site, and renters can get in any hour of the day. Reviews are mixed, and a few themes come up more than once. One renter who had a unit for years said the property was clean and the gate made it feel secure. Another called in a pinch for a summer unit and had keys in minutes, noting the paved lot and coded entry. Others point to the years since the ownership change and describe gates left open, unanswered calls, and rent that went up. If you are storing a rig here, look at the lot in person and ask how gate codes and camera coverage work now. The 4.1 rating across 22 reviews reflects both sides of that history.
