About CubeSmart Self Storage
CubeSmart Self Storage sits on Road 16 in Chowchilla, and the reviews point to one person again and again. Don, the manager, gets named for quick callbacks, straight answers and walking people through gate codes and paperwork. One reviewer reserved a unit ahead, switched to a bigger one on arrival and was out in under 45 minutes. RV owners get covered storage, and the property is gated with security cameras. There are climate-controlled units too, plus moving supplies like tape, boxes and bubble wrap if you are packing up before you park. The site also lists online payments and contact-free rental. Reviewers describe the grounds as clean, and a few mention past tenants coming back after years away. One caution worth repeating: a reviewer saw the monthly rent go up after a few months and suggests confirming how long a quoted rate holds. Overall the rating is 4.8 across 102 reviews, and most of the praise lands on the staff.
