About Decatur Self Storage
Decatur Self Storage is a locally owned facility on the edge of town, and reviewers keep coming back to the staff. People describe the owners as polite and helpful, and one reviewer said Gary stayed past closing to rent units and jump a dead battery. The lot has room for boats and RVs alongside standard and climate-controlled units. Reviewers mention easy in and out with a large trailer or U-Haul, and wide climate-controlled doors that save you from turning furniture sideways. The ground rolls a bit, so expect to drag bottom in spots, which one reviewer chalked up to water runoff. It sits at 4.4 stars across 48 Google reviews. Most praise is about friendly staff, fair rent, and a clean, gated property. A few reviewers had friction over gate codes and the after-hours line, so read the current policy before you sign.
