About Desert Storage Co
Desert Storage Co sits on U.S. Highway 50 East in Carson City, with RV, boat, and vehicle parking alongside regular self-storage units. Reviews mention outside units, gate codes, and cameras around the property, and the place stays lit at night. People who rent here tend to bring up the staff first. Reviewers call them friendly and helpful, and one noted renting a unit entirely online instead of driving in from Tahoe. Others mention reasonable pricing and 24-hour access, and a couple of long-term renters say they have had no problems over the years. The site also rents Penske trucks, and one reviewer described a smooth return of a 26-foot box truck. It holds a 4.3 rating across 24 Google reviews. If you are hauling a rig up from Dayton or around town, the highway location is easy to find and get back onto.
