About Devon Self Storage Joliet, Illinois

Devon Self Storage sits on Essington Road in Joliet, near Basinger's Pharmacy and a short drive from Louis Joliet Mall. It's a self-storage facility, and RV owners have used it for vehicle storage alongside household and business units. The place is new, and reviewers bring that up more than once. Units are rented month to month, so short-term and long-term stays both work. The staff gets most of the praise. Reviewers name Carol, Enoch, Christopher and Phil, calling them polite, helpful and attentive. People describe clean, well-cared-for units, easy access and a facility that feels safe, and several mention indoor units and climate control. The online rental and booking process drew good words too. Not every review is glowing. One customer says they paid extra for a climate-controlled unit and found mold on furniture and belongings, and says they were told the lack of insurance ruled out compensation. Another paid online and did not get the first month free. Worth asking about both before you sign.
