About East Lincoln Way Storage
East Lincoln Way Storage is a family owned and operated self-storage spot in Ames, and they have been at it over 10 years. They rent indoor and outdoor space, and boats and RVs are welcome alongside regular household and business storage. Access is 24/7, cameras are on site, and some of the indoor space is climate controlled. Reviewers tend to mention the people first. Several call out Kathy and her husband by name, saying they check in and answer questions fast. One renter set up a unit over a quick phone call with help picking the size. Others point to easy access and reasonable prices, and one long-term customer has come back more than once as their space needs changed. Not everything is glowing. One reviewer had trouble with a stuck lock and had to wait for help, so build a little slack into move-in day. Another notes dust from the gravel driveway gets on exposed belongings, so keep things covered. For plain, no-frills storage run by people who pick up the phone, it fits.
