About Essential Storage U-Haul
Essential Storage on the U-Haul side of things is a self-storage lot in West Monroe that also sets aside room for RVs, boats, trucks and trailers. You can pick covered or uncovered parking depending on what you're bringing. Units run from small 5x5 up to a 20x25, and some are climate controlled, some are drive-up. Reviewers keep coming back to the staff. People describe the woman at the desk as courteous, quick on her feet and good at juggling a busy counter. Several mention calling with questions about applying and getting walked through it without any runaround. One person said getting into their unit is simple but still secured. It isn't perfect. One reviewer showed up for a reserved U-Haul trailer and found the office empty and the phone unanswered, and said so plainly. The owner replied with an apology. Overall the place sits at 4.3 stars across 16 reviews. Trucks, trailers and moving supplies are on site too.
