About Extra Space Storage
Extra Space Storage runs a self-storage lot at 5815 Arapahoe Ave in Boulder, near Cherryvale Rd. The site takes vehicles as well as household goods, and the categories listed include automobile, boat, and RV storage. Reviews number 934 on Google with a 4.8 average, and a lot of them mention the staff by name. Geraldine comes up often. One reviewer said she helped with moving supplies and locks when the U-Haul broke down, and another described her as calm during a fire in a couple of units. The rental process draws steady praise too, with people saying an employee walked them through it. Mixed in with that, some reviews warn about price. Several renters said their rate went up a few months after signing, and one said a promised prorated final month did not happen. Worth reading the reviews yourself. What renters mention
“Geraldine has always been great the last 2 years. She provided me with safe moving materials and locks at a reasonable price. When rent was raised we talked and came up with a reasonable solution.” – Kirsten S., 3 months ago, on Google
“Very pleased with our unit and the service we received. Employee walked me through the rental process and I paid in full. My CU Boulder student son didn’t lock it properly - they called and were a huge help (as we are out of state).” – Kelly C., 4 months ago, on Google
“Geraldine was so awesome. The uhaul I rented broke down. She went above and beyond to get her jumper cables and help me out. I was having a crazy day and she helped me to keep going. Thank you Ivan as well.” – Nikki, Edited 5 months ago, on Google
