About Extra Space Storage
Extra Space Storage on Northwest Fwy in Cypress offers self-storage with a gated entrance and climate-controlled units. The wide drive aisles make it easy to maneuver, and vehicles are allowed in drive-up units. Reviewers often mention the helpful staff and clean units, with many noting a smooth renting experience. The facility has electronic gate access and a manager living on site. But reviews also show some issues. Several reviewers report break-ins and say management did not notify them. Others mention rent increases that happened multiple times, sometimes doubling the rate. One long-term customer said conditions worsened after a change in ownership. The location is not fancy, but some reviewers were okay with it because of the location. If you're considering storing your RV here, it's worth reading recent reviews and asking about security and rate history before you sign. The staff has been praised for being knowledgeable and generous, and the online payment option is a plus for some. The facility is wheelchair accessible.
