About Extra Space Storage
Extra Space Storage sits on Oak Tree Rd in Edison, and the lot handles outdoor parking for RVs and boats alongside regular self-storage units. There's a wide drive aisle, multiple entrance and exit gates, and freeway access close by. Some units are climate controlled and some are not, so ask which is which before you book. With 1,161 Google reviews and a 4.8 average, the staff gets a lot of the credit. Reviewers mention Shiju and Bill by name for walking them to their space, showing them how the lock works, and helping sort out account problems. One reviewer said the process was smooth from the tour onward and that the facility was clean and well-maintained. Others call it a safe area and note quick setup. A few mention extra fees, like a lien fee after a couple of missed payments, so read the paperwork before you sign. It's wheelchair accessible and open to everyone.
