About Extra Space Storage
Extra Space Storage on NE 44th St in Oakland Park runs a big self-storage site, and RV parking is one of the options. Units come in indoor and outdoor layouts, and the property is gated with electronic access. Climate controlled units are available too, which matters in South Florida heat. The drive aisles are wide enough for rigs, and vehicles are allowed in drive-up units. Reviews mostly land on the staff. Kyndal and Will come up by name for taking time with people and following up after the visit. One reviewer got help five minutes before closing. Others describe the units as nice and clean. A couple of reviewers had rough visits, one with an employee they found dismissive, another who booked a space and found the unit was at a sister location a mile away. A long-term tenant liked the cleanliness but left after three price increases in a year. Worth reading the recent reviews before you book.
