About Extra Space Storage
Extra Space Storage in Portland, Tennessee, gets high marks from renters. The Google rating sits at 4.8 across 268 reviews. Reviewers single out the manager, Debbie, for being friendly and quick to explain things. One customer arrived with a 10x10 reserved, realized the load was too big, and got upgraded on the spot. Another mentions the first month free is often part of the deal, though you should check in case that changes. Clean facilities come up again and again. People also like the app setup and being able to open the gate from a phone. Online booking makes the rental process easy, and 24/7 access helps if you keep spare parts or business gear on site. Units come in small, medium, and large sizes, so there is room for a range of loads. The entrance and parking lot are wheelchair accessible, and the team is LGBTQ+ friendly. Not every review is glowing. One long-time renter had trouble reaching anyone by phone and a billing dispute they say never got resolved. Worth knowing before you sign. Call or stop by to sort out a unit.
