About Extra Space Storage
Extra Space Storage on Cromwell Ave in Rocky Hill handles more than the usual household overflow. The facility also lists vehicle and boat storage, so there's room for a rig alongside everything else. It sits near Cromwell Ave and I-91, which makes drop-off and pickup easy from the highway. Climate control is available, and the site has drive-up access. Reviewers keep mentioning the staff by name, with Chris and Kirsten getting steady praise for being friendly and helpful. People also note the clean units and clean grounds. A few mention that gate access has never given them trouble, and one reviewer rented a unit for winter vehicle storage and would come back for short-term needs. Others describe a quick online setup and an easy rental process. Worth knowing before you commit: more than one reviewer says the rental fee goes up every six months, so long-term parkers should plan for that. One person storing without climate control found mildew on items in the back of the unit. The office has posted hours, so check them before you haul over. The facility is wheelchair accessible.
