About Extra Space Storage
Extra Space Storage on Frazee Road handles more than just household goods. The San Diego facility rents vehicle storage alongside standard units, which makes it a practical stop for RV owners who need a spot near the Cabrillo Freeway. Drive-up access is available, so you can pull in and unload without hauling gear across the property. The team gets consistent praise in reviews. Miguel and Joy are named for walking customers through unit sizes and fixing booking mistakes. Reviewers often mention how quick the rental process feels. One recurring gripe: you may be required to buy a lock on site even if you bring your own. With a 4.8 rating across 963 Google reviews, most people leave satisfied. A few complain about rate increases after a few months in a unit. Hours are posted but the office is not open 24/7, so plan your visit accordingly.
