About Extra Space Storage
Extra Space Storage on 14th St in Santa Monica stores more than just household goods. The facility handles outdoor parking for RVs and boats, and it's gated with electronic access. Climate-controlled units are available too, though the outdoor spots are what you'd want for a rig. Reviewers often mention the staff by name, saying they're accommodating and walk people through the rental process. One person said a team member helped set up an online account and showed them around. Others call the place clean and organized, and a few note good prices. The 4.7-star rating comes from 400 Google reviews. Not every review is positive. Some people reported rodent problems and a leaking ceiling that damaged their belongings. Staff responses to those complaints varied. If you're considering parking here, it's worth asking about pest control and maintenance before you sign. The facility is wheelchair accessible and LGBTQ+ friendly.
