About Extra Space Storage
This Extra Space Storage sits on Fruitville Rd in Sarasota, part of a self-storage operation that also handles vehicle and boat parking. Reviewers talk about the grounds staying clean and the facility feeling secure. Reviewers single out John, the manager, and other staff for walking them through the rental process step by step, including first-timers who had never rented a unit before. Outdoor parking is one of the storage types here, so there is room for rigs that do better outside. The site is gated with electronic access, and climate controlled units are available alongside non climate controlled ones. Vehicle storage is allowed in the drive-up units, and there is elevator access for the buildings. A 4.9 rating across 676 Google reviews is high, and the review topics back it up: efficient staff, easy rental process, clean units. One reviewer mentioned changing locations without much fuss after being sent to a facility farther away. Others describe a welcome on arrival and a walk to the unit to see how the climate control works. Call ahead if you want to talk through what fits your rig.
