About Extra Space Storage
Extra Space Storage runs a self-storage facility on Bedford Street in Whitman, near the Pine St corner. Neighbors from Abington, Brockton, and Hanson use it too. The site has small, medium, and large units, and the listings mention climate control, drive-up access, and vehicle storage for RVs and boats. The reviews are mostly about the people. Staff get named for walking customers through the rental, showing the unit before signing, and cutting a lost lock without a fuss. Reviewers also call the place secure and clean and mention carts being available. A few describe prices going up after the first few months, and one manager gets credit for working with a tenant on an increase. Hours are posted but the gate is not open around the clock. You can reserve online or stop by the office.
