About Gateway Storage Facility
Gateway Storage Facility sits off Highway 22 in Gates, about 15 miles from Detroit Lake. It handles RVs, boats and vehicles, with both outdoor spots and indoor parking behind a fence with keypad entry. Reviewers tend to mention the same things. One boater who stored over the winter called the place clean and secure and liked having power to run a dehumidifier under the cover. Another renter stayed three or four months with no issues and got a break for paying three months up front. Fair warning from that same review: access is not 24/7, and paying in cash can be a hassle since most people use a card. Security comes from cameras and personalized gate codes, and the setup is aimed at keeping your rig close to the water instead of hauling it back and forth. The facility scores 4.6 across 9 Google reviews. If you want details on availability, get in touch with the office.
