About Golden Target Self Storage
Golden Target Self Storage sits in Albuquerque, about 15 minutes from the University of New Mexico. They rent indoor units of various sizes, and the property is fenced with coded gate entry and 24-hour video surveillance. RV and boat owners have used the drive-up access to load and unload. Reviewers often mention the security and cleanliness. One person kept an indoor 10x10 for two and a half years and found it dry and secure, with lots of cameras and a clean unit on move-out. Staff get nods for being friendly and helpful, like Nathaniel, who cleaned a unit and let someone drop off a load after 8pm. But not every review is positive. A few mention mice and rodents getting into stored items, and one person was unhappy about the condition of their unit at move-in. Others have complained about prices and refunds. If you're storing something that pests could get into, it's worth asking about the pest precautions the team has in place.

“Thank you Maria for making it an easy sign up. You're the best! I have rented from this place many times. Makes me sad Sandy is no longer the owner. I hope the new management is just as friendly as she is.” – J, 6 months ago, on Google
“Overall it was a good experience. I was not happy at first because the unit was not clean, however Nathaniel went above and beyond and got it cleaned up and because he was working late, he allowed me to drop off my last load after 8pm.” – Sherrie J., 6 months ago, on Google
“Rented an indoor 10x10 for 2.5 years and I would highly recommend Golden Target! My stuff stayed dry, huge walls around the property, and lots of cameras. When I cleaned my unit out I only saw dead spiders, very clean and secure.” – Rowena V., a year ago, on Google
