About Hawthorne Self Storage
Hawthorne Self Storage sits where 301 meets Hawthorne Road (State Road 20) on the north side of town, near Hitchcock's and Family Dollar. RVs, boats, and regular household goods all have a spot here, and 24/7 gate access means you can pull in when it suits you instead of racing posted hours. Reviews land at 4.4 stars across 20 ratings, and the theme is mixed. Several people praise the owners, saying the property looks clean and that help shows up when you ask. Others had the opposite experience. One reviewer found someone else's lock on their unit and couldn't reach anyone by phone, and another describes a roof leak and a frustrating call with the office. A newer reviewer mentions recent ownership and upgrade work in progress. Rentals can be handled online, including payments, and climate-controlled and drive-up units are both offered. If you want a straight answer before booking, call during business hours and confirm the unit is clear before you load the truck.
