Heirloom Hamlet is a small, handcrafted stop in Ridgeland, a few minutes off I-95. It suits Lowcountry touring and travelers passing through who want somewhere quiet to land for the night. The property was built by hand with an eco-friendly bent. Only a handful of sites sit here, so you are not parked shoulder to shoulder in a lot. Guests write that the sites are spacious and level, tucked behind a privacy fence and bushes. Some have water and electricity, and there is a mix of sun and shade for rooftop solar. A 44-foot rig pulled in fine with the host guiding it to the right entrance. There is also tent camping, a bathhouse, a composting toilet, and chickens on the property. Reviewers keep coming back to the hosts, Curt and family, calling them kind and helpful. Quiet comes up again and again. One guest called it affordable next to campgrounds quoting much more.
