About Herkimer County Fair Association
The Herkimer County Fair Association runs a 26 acre fairground in Frankfort, in the Mohawk Valley. It is outdoor ground, and the site fills up from May to October with the county fair, RV rallies, craft shows, circuses and concerts. A volunteer team manages the place. Reviewers keep coming back for the events. The demolition derby gets mentioned a lot, along with the garage sale, live music and the food trucks. People also note the grounds are clean and roomy enough for big shows and a wide outdoor picnic area. One visitor found the exit route confusing to follow after a busy event. Free parking comes up more than once. The grounds are also rented out for weddings, business get-togethers and family parties. Every entrance, parking lot, restroom and seating area listed is wheelchair accessible. Hours are not posted, so check ahead before you drive over.
