About LocalStorage
LocalStorage runs six facilities along Route 5 between Auburn and Elbridge, so there's a decent chance one sits near your route. The Auburn spot is self-storage, and RV rigs fit into the mix of units they rent. The site is gated with entry control and watched by 24-hour video. Reviews mention lit grounds and clean facilities, and the manager Robin comes up more than once. One renter says she showed up in under 15 minutes after a lost key. Not every review is warm. Long-term tenants have complained about repeated rate increases, including a jump in the protection plan price and a unit rent hike. Another reviewer says calls go unanswered. The place has been in business since 1987 and rates are called competitive for the area by at least one customer.
