Maxwell AFB Storage Lot

About Maxwell AFB Storage Lot

This is an RV storage lot on Maxwell Air Force Base in Montgomery, and the reviews point to one big draw: the price. Multiple reviewers call it cheap or say the price can't be beat. It's a small lot, and one reviewer noted there's plenty of room. Getting in takes a little effort. The gate runs on a code, but the keypad sits by the fence, so you have to get out and walk up to it. That's fine in a car and less fun from the driver's seat of a rig. One reviewer also said the gate has been working intermittently, sometimes left wide open. The lot itself could use work. Reviewers mention it needs resurfacing, and that some patrons don't stay in their own spots, which makes parking and pulling out harder. One reviewer downgraded their rating over broken-down campers sitting for years and attracting mice. Fair warning: you get what you pay for.
