About McKinney's RV Park
McKinney's RV Park sits out in the country near Iola, and the reviews keep coming back to how quiet it is. Guests mention clear night skies with no light pollution and longhorn cattle around the grounds. It's about a dozen sites with hookups, not a big paved lot. Scott, the owner, gets named a lot. Reviewers say he goes out of his way to help new campers learn the ropes and is around when you need him. One guest noted you should tell him if you need 30 or 50 amp service. There's an old washer and dryer campers can use for free. Come with what you need. Reviewers point out there are no restrooms, showers, or wifi, and the park isn't close to much, so plan on having a ride. Dogs were welcomed at least once. Some guests stay a night or two; others settle in for weeks.
