About Melancon I-49 Storage Center
Melancon I-49 Storage Center sits just off the interstate in Lafayette, Louisiana, and carries a 4.7-star rating from 54 Google reviews. Reviewers keep coming back to the staff. One person called the woman who helped them "AWESOME" and appreciated being able to see the unit sizes before signing. Another said the staff was fantastic every time they came into the office, and when they mentioned how hot it was during a move, the lady working opened her mini fridge and told them to take as much as they wanted. Price comes up too. One reviewer said they were the only shed storage spot in Lafayette that didn't bait with a low price and then tack on fees. Others mention reasonable rates and being able to bring everything to one spot instead of making extra store runs. Cleanliness and storage space also get positive nods. Not every review is warm. One long-term renter said they were asked to move units after a break-in and felt the situation was handled poorly. Another warned that service depends on who you get, saying to ask for Pat or the owner if you want things to go smoothly.
