About modSTORAGE
modSTORAGE is a new self-storage building in Piscataway, opened in May 2025. Units are climate controlled and the place is kept spotless, according to reviewers who mention cleanliness more than anything else. Locks run through your cell phone instead of old-fashioned keys, and Bluetooth access comes up too. Reviewers single out Mike and Jose by name for being respectful and patient with questions. One tour turned into a sign-up after a manager talked through concerns about storing belongings. People also call the move-in process easy and the prices low for the area. One review warns that rates went up 47 percent after four months, and says staff weren't upfront about it. No long-term contract locks in a rate. Worth asking about before you commit, especially if you plan to stay a while. Access is 24/7.
