MyPlace Self Storage

About MyPlace Self Storage

MyPlace Self Storage sits on Fayetteville Street in Asheboro, with gated 24-hour access and drive-up units on the ground floor. Month-to-month rentals and a range of unit sizes are part of the setup, and the office sells packing and moving supplies. It's a self-storage facility, so boat and vehicle storage depend on what's open when you call. Reviews land around a middle ground. Several people call the place clean and the staff nice folks who answer questions. Others describe gate codes and lock codes that took a few tries, and one review mentions trouble reaching maintenance on a Sunday. More than a couple of reviews bring up rent, with longer-term customers saying rates and fees went up after a change in ownership. A few describe reserved units that turned out to hold someone else's things, and one of those is being handled as a refund. Worth a walk-through before you sign. Check the unit you're actually assigned, confirm the gate code routine, and ask how billing works if you set up autopay.
