About Private Storage Systems
Private Storage Systems is a self-storage facility in Escondido that has been around since 1974. The place offers covered storage for RVs and boats, and the site is gated. Reviewers often mention how clean the grounds are, and several note the wide alleys between units, which make it easier to maneuver a big rig. Staff get good marks too. Kim in the office is called friendly and kind, and the on-site managers are described as helpful. One reviewer has been storing here since 2013 and says they have never had a problem. Another came for a temporary solution and stayed 20+ years. The facility sells locks, and one person noted they were cheaper than elsewhere. Not every review is positive. One customer moved out after finding rat droppings on their belongings and felt the response from management was defensive. The overall Google rating is 4.3 from 42 reviews. Hours are posted, but it is not open 24/7.
