Public Storage, 2104 Ellis Rd

About Public Storage

This Public Storage on Ellis Road in Durham handles both indoor climate-controlled units and an outside drive-up space sized for a boat or vehicle. The 10x30 outside unit has a rollup door and enclosed drive-up access, so you can pull a rig in without threading through a building. Smaller indoor units with elevator access and climate control are also on the menu if you just need to stash gear. Reviewers keep coming back to the staff. Nija gets named for walking people through insurance and making the rental quick. Kayla helped one customer compare bin sizes late in the day and still gave a full rundown. Several people mention the place feels secure and clean, and the climate control works like it should. One recurring gripe: finding someone in the office can be tough, and you may end up in the phone tree. A reviewer also warns that rent goes up every few months, though they note it seems common across locations. Reserve online for free with no commitment, and there's an eRental option to skip the counter.
