About Public Storage
This Roanoke spot on the Public Storage side handles self-storage and also lists auto, boat and RV storage among its categories. It sits in a Texas town that drivers pass through on the regular, and the property opens around the clock. Climate-controlled units are on the menu if you want your rig out of the weather. Reviewers keep mentioning the staff. Twenty-nine reviews call out kind employees, and ten point to a helpful manager. Cleanliness comes up a lot too, with 23 reviews describing the facility as clean. One renter came in just to ask questions and left having booked a unit because the person at the counter was thorough. Another said a voicemail got a callback the next day and the problem was fixed. Not everyone is thrilled. Some reviews mention rising rates, extra rules and fees, and carts that aren't always around when you're hauling gear. Online rental is an option, though at least one reviewer found the site self-service with no one on hand. Worth a read before you sign.
