About Self-Storage at U-Haul
This is the U-Haul spot on Route 66 East in Columbia, close to US Route 6. You get both indoor units and outdoor drive-up spots, so an RV can sit outside where you can pull right up to it. Climate control is available for the indoor side, and the property has cameras and lighting. Reviews run both ways. One renter kept a unit here 11 years and called the team kind and helpful. Another praised a staff member by name for going out of his way. Others describe the property as clean, secure and well-lit, with easy access and convenient office hours. The complaints are worth reading too. One person with a confirmation number arrived to be told it was first come, first serve, and thought the units looked sketchy. Another said employees were rude and questioned how long they spent at their unit. Five reviews, 3.4 average. Hours are posted but it is not open around the clock.
