About Self-Storage at U-Haul
This U-Haul spot sits at Southfield Frwy and Joy Rd on Detroit's west side, near Rogue Park. It's a working self-storage facility with indoor units and outdoor drive-up spaces, plus vehicle storage if you need a spot for a rig or a boat. Reviewers keep landing on the same thing: the people. They call the staff helpful, knowledgeable and courteous, and one said they'd be a customer for good after dealing with the Joy Rd location. Another mentioned a mix-up that got sorted once they talked to the manager. The facility itself gets described as clean and organized. The listing notes security cameras, 24/7 access, climate control and a wash option. Rentals run month to month, and you can handle payments and move-in online. With only a few reviews so far, the 4.7 average is thin, but what's there reads positive. Worth a call before you haul the rig over.
