Self-Storage at U-Haul

About Self-Storage at U-Haul

On Fulton Ave in Hempstead, this U-Haul spot handles both indoor and outdoor storage, so you can pick covered space or a drive-up spot for the rig. Climate control is available if you want it. The lot has cameras and 24/7 access, and there is a wash on site. Reviewers give it 4.8 stars, though only a handful have weighed in so far. The comments are mostly about the counter staff: one guy gets called knowledgeable and good at juggling several customers at once. Another reviewer liked the location. The main gripe is the U-Haul app, which one person said quit on them mid rental. Rentals run month to month, and you can book and pay online. They also sell packing and moving supplies and keep dollies and carts around. If the app gives you trouble, the desk seems to be where things get sorted out.
