About Self-Storage at U-Haul
A U-Haul storage site on the Houma side of town, near Bayou Cane and Southland Mall. It handles indoor and outdoor storage plus vehicle and boat parking, so there is room for an RV alongside the usual household units. The lot has cameras and 24/7 access, and there is a wash on site. Climate-controlled units are available if you need them for other gear. Rentals run month to month, with online payments and contact-free move-in. Reviewers tend to talk about the staff. One person called the in-store help knowledgeable and welcoming, another praised how detailed the walkthrough was, and a third said closing an account was quick and easy. Not every review is glowing. One renter reported mold and mildew in a climate-controlled unit after Hurricane Ida and said the reserved space was not ready on arrival. Worth reading the full reviews before you book.
