About Self-Storage at U-Haul
This is the U-Haul on the South Jacksonville side, near Southside, San Marco and the Phillips Highway corridor. RV owners get indoor and outdoor options, plus drive-up access and climate control for the units that have it. Access runs around the clock, and cameras are on site. Reviews are mixed but mostly lean positive. Fifteen people call out the staff as helpful, and several mention a particular employee by name. Cleanliness comes up five times, usually in a good way. One reviewer talked about backing a 23-foot unit up to unload a 20-foot truck in four hours. The complaints are worth knowing. A couple of reviewers say the phone rarely gets answered and that customers off the property get less attention. One review describes a break-in and says management did not report it. Another calls communication poor. If you rent here, handle business in person and look at the unit before you sign.
